Events with The Governess of London

We run regular events to help your child develop the soft-skills they need to flourish both in the school selection ‘activity morning’ and in every-day school life.

With our tutors facilitating, our events allow children of all abilities to come together, developing their interpersonal and communication skills, and learning new skills in a shared environment.

During the school holidays, we take advantage of the range of experiential learning opportunities in London.

From exploring the science museum with an engineer and the Wellcome Collection with a junior doctor, to visiting the Tower of London with a PhD student, these events allow our children to widen not only their understanding of the world but also their vocabulary.

Older or more academic children can learn skills that will help them become a well rounded person by working with younger children or those with additional learning needs. At these events, children from vastly different backgrounds have formed lasting friendships.

End of term events allow us to collaborate with specialist companies, allowing children to experience more specific vocations, from basketry to robotics.
